xQc called out by Mizkif, reveals why he missed Shitcamp

Felix “xQc” Lengyel is sick of other content creators calling him out for gambling.

xQc was already in hot water for dropping out of QTCinderella’s Shitcamp, something that made content creators even angrier when it was revealed he also had declined attending the Creator Clash back in May. Matthew “Mizkif” Rinaudo accused him of leaving Creator Clash last minute, forcing the event’s organizers to change a lot of things around last second.

In a livestream, Mizkif claimed that xQc had ditched the fighting tournament to gamble when the controversial former Overwatch pro appeared in his chat to argue.

xQc has been very focused on gambling the past few months, even admitting to having an addiction to online slots. This has become big drama on Twitch, with many streamers worried that xQc gambling hundreds of thousands a dollars away every month was influencing young viewers to also use the gambling sites in an unhealthy way.

But xQc argued back that he had not been skipping events to gamble. He revealed in a recent stream that he “couldn’t leave home” at the time of Shitcamp. At the time, xQc had stated that Shitcamp wouldn’t make good content, especially after hearing that some other streamers weren’t attending, which is what left many feeling frustrated with his behavior. But now xQc has stated he didn’t attend Shitcamp due to “family drama” and “relationship drama” that was “hardcore.”

xQc also took a few jabs at Mizkif as well. He claimed that he didn’t want to “associate” with Mizkif after he made a Discord group with some of the guys, including xQc, to tell them that he didn’t want his girlfriend’s stream to get more viewers than him, stating that it was making him mad at the time.

“To me, I just felt like there was something wrong with that, and I didn’t agree with that. So, I just said, I’m distancing myself from that group. That’s it, man. It’s not even a big deal, like people say, ‘It’s a big deal. That’s like, a personal thing!’ Yeah, it is a personal thing, and it’s not in my business,” xQc explained.

xQc then claimed that Mizkif would “re-broadcast” his girlfriend’s podcast “against their will” so that their viewership wouldn’t surpass his own. Mizkif also allegedly “manipulated” the female streamers to be against xQc even though he “defended them” at the time.

There is currently no end in sight when it comes to Mizkif and xQc’s ongoing beef. The two streamers are clearly not seeing eye to eye about many things at the moment. It’s only a matter of time until Mizkif will respond with his own accusations.
