Wukong is a tricky bruiser, able to outmaneuver and outwit his opponents with quick trades and a powerful ultimate. As a result of a small rework that allows him to cross walls with his W, Wukong has suddenly become more popular in solo queue. The champions who best counter Wukong in jungle tend to be high-damage skirmishers who prey on his low early damage in jungle and his limited mobility. The champion with the best win rate into Wukong jungle is Shyvana, and there are several reasons for this.
When Wukong looks to go invisible, Shyvana’s W can reveal his location as he moves thanks to its damage over time effect. At the same time, Shyvana can eventually play most fights from outside of Wukong’s range using her high-damage builds, or she can go toe-to-toe in tank builds if that’s what her team needs. Either way, she is able to support her team and effectively counter Wukong’s strengths.
Other champions who perform well against Wukong in the jungle are assassins like Kha’Zix, Shaco, and Evelynn. Wukong is especially effective against physical damage, so magic damage dealers gain extra value against Wukong.

Look to punish him when he’s alone and spread out to avoid disastrous knock-ups from his ultimate.
