There are at least six more episodes of Yellowstone in the works. Season 5 Part 2 is coming out soon, and you are still on time to catch up. Where is the best place to watch Yellowstone? Here is the answer.

Yellowstone is a successful neo-Western drama created by Taylor Sheridan. The show, produced by Paramount Network, follows the Dutton family. Yellowstone’s success resulted in two prequels, 1883 and 1923, each following a different generation of the Dutton family.

Creator Taylor Sheridan confirmed that Yellowstone would be ending with season 5. According to some rumors, the sudden ending is due in part to creative differences with Kevin Costner, the star of the show. A sequel to Yellowstone, starring Matthew McConaughey, is allegedly in the works.

Yellowstone Season 5 is divided into two parts. Part one aired between November 2022 and January 2023. Part two was scheduled to air in November 2023, but due to the SAG-After and WGA ongoing strikes, it might be delayed to 2024.

It is unclear how many episodes will be in part 2 of the final season. According to Sheridan, ten episodes would be the perfect number to wrap up the story. The creator was confident that Paramount Network would approve a final run for that number of episodes.

As for the new show, nothing has been confirmed yet. There will be enough of the Dutton family in the future. 1923 has been renewed for a second season following the success of the first installment.

The ongoing strike is causing delays in the productions, which in time, is affecting the network’s fall scheduling. To address the lack of new content, Paramount Network recently aired 1883, a show that was originally developed for Paramount+.

Yellowstone might return to the TV screens during the fall with Season 5 Part 1. Those who wish to watch the show from the start might do so through Paramount+.
