When is the next season of Fortnite coming? Here's what we know

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 is just starting, bringing new weapons and a new Battle Pass. But Fortnite fans are already wondering about Chapter 3 Season 3.

Building has been removed from Fortnite in a new game mode, bringing back lapsed fans and players. Once again, streamers are dropping into the battle royale to have fun, meaning more eyes are on the game than in the previous year. It’s no surprise that the fanbase is wondering about what could come next in Chapter 3 Season 3.

When does Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 end?

Prominent data miners have uncovered that Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 is ending on June 3. The same trusted Fortnite leaker also noted that Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 will start on June 4, the following day.

This means that Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 will last a little under three months, making it a pretty short season compared to previous seasons.

When does Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 start?

Assuming that Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 isn’t significantly delayed, you can expect Chapter 3 Season 3 to begin June 4. This is just 24 hours after the end of Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2, which has fans wondering if there will be a live event connecting the two seasons. Chapter 3 Season 1 ended without a live event, and it could be the same this time around.

What’s unfortunate is that data leakers have yet to figure out anything else about Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3. The new theme, any new limited-time modes, and potential crossover skins are all currently a mystery. Jurassic World Domination is coming out in June, however, so fans might expect some dinosaur-themed skins and events to come to Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 based on the game’s history of cross-promotional references.
