Watch these players dominate CSGO with a DDR pad and digital pen
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive players have approached the game in a number of different ways over the years but thanks to CSGO’s competitive nature, many end up being stamped out over time.
That changed recently when a clip of a Reddit user appeared showing off his AWPing skills on Overpass. While players often flaunt their in-game exploits on social media, this individual went one better by pulling this off with a digital pen instead of a mouse.
The player managed some solid flicks using a pen and a drawing tablet plugged into his computer. Most CSGO players will admit that it’s hard enough switching from one mouse to another, let alone a mouse to a completely different kind of peripheral. Check it out.
aaronsfury_ found himself stuck in a one versus three on the T side of Overpass, armed only with CSGO’s ultimate sniper rifle, the AWP. What followed was both a series of bad decisions from the CT players and some pretty impressive aim coming out from aaronsfury_, especially given that he managed to bring the situation into his favor with two quick kills down long.
In a one versus one, aaronsfury_ manages the plant on A site before nailing the final kill at long. Luckily for the player, these CTs failed to follow the cardinal rule of a three versus one – never peak alone. The CT players clearly knew where aaronsfury_ was, but instead of holding crossfires and bringing home the round, they push and pay the price for it. Either way, it’s an impressive way to win an AWP clutch on a less-than-optimal peripheral.

While aaronsfury_’s pen and pad mouse is pretty impressive, this isn’t the first time a player has used an unconventional controller to frag out in CSGO. Over the years, players have used everything from bananas to “Dance, Dance Revolution” mats to walk around and even play live games in CSGO.
Even more recently, a player used a banana to play Blizzard’s Overwatch. There doesn’t seem to be a limit as to how far players will go to stretch the limits of what is possible in CSGO and other first-person shooters and with all the time on their hands, it looks like players are taking it to the next level.
