Riot Games has finally introduced a long-awaited kill-counting skin feature in the brand new skin bundle RGX 11Z PRO.Â
The developer recently launched a plain-looking agent-themed skin bundle Valorant GO! Vol. 2, which failed to leave as much of an impact. However, this new skin collection hits the mark with its unique translucent design and StatTrak feature.Â
StatTrak skins keep a tally of how many kills players have racked up with that skin equipped. The StatTrak name is taken directly from Counter-Strike: Global Offensive but the mechanic has been seen in other games, particularly Team Fortress 2’s “Strange” quality items.
All Valorant skins have either a strong theme or backstory. The developer tied in Valorant’s sister game, League of Legends, with the Ruination and Sentinels of Light collections, but the new bundle seems to deviate from that. RGX 11Z PRO may not be based on a theme or storyline, but it’s sure to be one of the most sought-after skin collections in Valorant. The bundle contains everything players have been asking for.Â
The guns are nice to look at for players who fancy futuristic designs. Riot Games has previously dipped its toes in glass-like skin styling, but RGX 11Z PRO is in a league of its own. Players can actually see the bullets being fed into the gun. The crystal skins are lined with bright-colored borders to add the classic Valorant touch.Â
The brand new collection features a Katana, one of the most requested melee weapons by players. While the game already has plenty of long knives, it has a unique equip animation that sets it apart.
Here are all the weapons that come in the RGX 11Z PRO theme.Â
Players can keep a count of their kills with the tracker on the back of each gun. All skins have five upgrade levels instead of the usual four. However, the Katana can only be upgraded to level two. Here are the color variations for all weapons.Â
The new crystal bundle will be released with Patch 3.07 on October 6. Players can grab Valorant’s first StatTrak skins from their market rotation.Â
RGX 11Z PRO is released in the exclusive category of Valorant, which is one of the most expensive ones. The bundle will come for the price of 8,700 Valorant points. Each skin should cost 2,175 VP, whereas the melee will be worth 4,350 VP.Â
