Wingman will now be able to use weapons in Valorant, but only for the month of April.
Valorant is getting refreshing changes in patch 2004. Everything players have been asking for is now coming true as Riot hands a weapon to Wingman so he can do a crime. The new jaw-dropping changes will likely remain functional for the month of April only, so go ahead, pick Gekko, and have a tiny shooter by your side.
Patch 2004 was announced on April 1 with some hilarious but valuable changes to the game. Now, if you’ve been playing the game for a while, you know that Gekko’s Wingman had players on edge with all the tricks he’s capable of pulling. It seems the nightmare is coming true as Wingman picks up the big gun, Operator.
Valorant patch 2004 removes all maps from the active pool, leaving Breeze as the only playable map right now. Besides that, shots fired from the spawn will now transfer to the enemy’s spawn. This is particularly useful for players who struggle with leaving the spawn after the buy phase.
But that is not all. Here are all the changes in Valorant’s April 1st patch notes:
Riot has ended the infamous Vandal VS Phantom comparisons by removing the former from the inventory. Everyone must play Phantom in Valorant during patch 2004.
Valorant patch 2004 isn’t real but an April Fools’ joke from Riot Games.
