Twitch streamer RitaGlitch was banned from Twitch while streaming from TwitchCon.

TwitchCon is where all of the top content creators come together for parties, panels, and fan meets each year. But at the 2022 partner party, RitaGlitch was suddenly suspended from Twitch. Now the community is trying to figure out why.

RitaGlitch has 51K followers on Twitch. She often gets about 100 to 200 viewers per stream but that shot up to 1,922 earlier today when RitaGlitch decided to stream from a party at TwitchCon that was only for partnered content creators. But that stream was short-lived.

Why was RitaGlitch banned from Twitch?

Twitch has not publicly stated why RitaGlitch was suspended from Twitch during her stream. But many in the streaming community believe they know why.

Most people commenting about the surprising ban have claimed that streamers are not allowed to broadcast from the TwitchCon Partner party. There is currently nothing about streaming policy on the TwitchCon FAQ page regarding the party.

For now, it’s a bit of a mystery what truly led to RitaGlitch’s ban and how long it will last. Meanwhile, the streaming community is applauding her for “doing god’s work” and showing what goes on inside the exclusive party.
