Pokimane Heard trial

Imane “Pokimane” Anys often comes off as a wholesome content creator but Tyler “Trainwreck” Niknam thinks there’s a different side to her that people should know.

In a Discord call streamed on Twitch, Trainwreck accused Pokimane of being one of the most “corrupt” figures on Twitch. While speaking with to Asmongold, Mitch Jones, Felix “xQc” Lengyel, and Matthew “Mizkif” Rinaudo, Trainwreck discussed how he’s been treated by other prominent streamers.

Asmongold asked Mizkif why he bothered to do collaborations with Pokimane and Hasan “HasanAbi” Piker. The World of Warcraft streamer added that they would “turn on you” the moment you look bad. Trainwreck was quick to agree with this sentiment.

“Pokimane is one of the most corrupt figures on Twitch,” he said.

Trainwreck went on to explain that Pokimane isn’t “replicable,” so Twitch isn’t willing to lose the popular content creator. But it’s currently unclear why Asmongold and Trainwreck believe Twitch should break ties with Pokimane. The two streamers didn’t offer any specific examples of Pokimane’s wrongdoings or corrupt behavior.

In her own stream, Pokimane stated that she doesn’t want to be involved in the drama that keeps cropping up on Twitch. People keep asking Pokimane if she’s “homies” with certain people or if she has any drama with anyone.

“I’m appalled by so many things. I just don’t wanna be involved in anything really,” Pokimane said. “I wanna be like homies with my OTV friends and stream sometimes and vlog and post s—… But the Twitch scene…”

Twitch has been bogged down in drama the past few weeks. ItsSliker admitted to scamming various content creators to fuel his gambling addiction, which led popular streamers like Pokimane to declare a possible strike until Twitch addressed the gambling problem on the platform. Meanwhile, Mizkif and his girlfriend were accused of covering up a sexual assault, leading to a lot of arguments between prominent creators on Twitch, including Trainwreck.

It’s no wonder that a lot of people have been asking Pokimane if she has any beef with these outspoken personalities or if she’s friends with anyone suspicious. Pokimane has stated that she wants to remain far removed from all the unfolding controversy.
