Do you also lose your Dust 2 games to that one person who only ever goes mid with an AWP? Well this one-way smoke by Christopher “GeT_RiGhT” Alesund can help you ruin their day.

Double doors on Dust 2 heavily favors the CT side, especially after the recent design changes. The blocked line of sight across the T spawn gives CT players free positioning to enemies pushing tot A-short. Setting a foot outside double doors is equally challenging, especially if the enemy AWPer is agile. However, in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, the utility has a cure for all ails.

Using this one-way smoke lineup from GeT_RiGhT, players can bypass double doors and take down the AWPer. It’s a simple setup and can work wonders when used correctly.

How to open mid doors on Dust 2?

Mid doors on Dust 2 can be a tough nut to crack, but learning utility can help. Flashes are the ideal way to eliminate the sniper, but a quick reaction is equally essential for it to work. Using this one-way smoke on Dust 2 is a safer way to gain entry through mid doors.

CSGO DUST 2

For this smoke, walk into lower tunnels and stand in front of the wooden crates, facing the ramp. Place crosshair on the lower end of XBOX and release the grenade. The smoke will pop slightly to the left of the door, creating a small window on the right side. Use this opening to pick off the AWPer, who may take this grenade as a misplaced short smoke.

The enemy’s point of view will not be entirely smoked off but the vision advantage will work in favor of the T player when they approach from the right spot. This is why this one-way smoke on Dust 2 is the best way to remove the sniper.

Dust 2 remains one of the most popular maps in CSGO, but it isn’t the most popular one.

It’s quite surprising that Dust 2 is no longer the top favorite map. The dusty scenery has reigned over the CS franchise for over a decade but isn’t the uncontested favorite anymore. Depending on the region, Inferno and Mirage can both have shorter queue times, while Tuscan also enjoyed similar popularity shortly after its release.
