These are the best moments from Arteezy’s wild Twitch streams
These are the best moments from Arteezy's wild Twitch streams
With Evil Geniuses taking a break from competition, Artour “Arteezy” Babaev has been much more active on Twitch of late. That has treated fans of the star carry player to a good bit of fun over the last few days.
Though Arteezy doesn’t really set out to be a comedy act while streaming, he’s delivered more than a few laughs. The biggest came during a game as Juggernaut, where he got caught by surprise by some Techies mines and delivered a speaker-exploding expletive. Sound warning!
Just one day prior, fans also got a chuckle from Arteezy’s discovery of a short-lived bug. The introduction of the Aghanim’s Labyrinth mini-game introduced a number of different bugs and issues in all facets of Dota 2. Among those issues was changes to the Bottle.
Bottle is a key item in Aghanim’s Labyrinth and received a significant boost in power due that was supposed to be exclusive to the limited-time event. This was inadvertantly applied to standard games of Dota 2, which made it three times as effective as normal. Arteezy picked up on this while playing Pangolier and promptly exploited the hell out of it:
Of course, most of Arteezy’s time on stream was spent honing his craft and posting impressive wins. This made for plenty of lengthy killing sprees and cheeky plays alike:
Arteezy has been out of action for a few weeks now after competing in online leagues almost continously over the prevoius three months. He and the rest of the Evil Geniuses squad are in an awkward spot as they deal with Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev and Abed “Abed” Azel L. Yusop being stuck overseas and away from the rest of team. This has seen EG play with a number of different substitute players in lieu of their full lineup.
Evil Geniuses will be returning to action in August with the debut of the new Omega League.
