Valve is still ironing out the remaining kinks in CS2 as players discover ideal video settings to enjoy the game.
Counter-Strike 2 is garnering positive reviews worldwide due to its clean gameplay, shorter matches, and competitive leaderboard system. However, your old settings won’t transfer to CS2, and there’s a chance that some complex
commands
in your CFG won’t work either.
What are the best CS2 video settings?
If you have a low-end PC, it’s recommended to keep almost advanced settings low or keep options like player contrast, ambient occlusion, and more disabled. Even optimal PC owners are advised to run the game at low settings to squeeze full juice out of the GPU.
If you’re manually adjusting settings from scratch, it’s worth taking a look at the best CS2 video settings used by top pros.

So, choose video settings that suit you the best and make minor changes to tailor them to your preference. For example, s1mple and m0NESY have similar settings, but ropz has completely customized his video settings.
If you’re going for s1mple and m0NESY’s settings, it’s recommended to set anti-aliasing to 4X MSAA to prevent FPS drops.
