Pokemon Go encourages trainers to explore the world around them, visit gyms, take part in combats, and complete their Pokedex. Here is how to obtain the most important resource in the game, Stardust.

Stardust is used to power up Pokemon, in combination with candies. Players will earn candies when they catch a Pokemon, transfer it, or walk with it.A trainer will power up their Pokemon in order to be more competitive in the leagues or to complete the field missions. Unlike other resources in the game, Stardust cannot be purchased through the store.

How do you get stardust in Pokemon 2022?

The easiest way to get Stardust is by catching Pokemon. Every catch will grant a base of 100 Stardust. Pokemon that are weather-boosted grant an additional 25 Stardust.

Not all Pokemon grant the same amount. Two of the Pokemon that grant the most are Cloyster with 1,200 Stardust and Audino with 2,000 Stardust. These Pokemon are considered rare, so consider yourself lucky if you find them in the wild.

Another way to get Stardust is by hatching eggs. Depending on the egg, trainers can receive between 400 and 6,400 Stardust. If you are in need of Stardust, ask a friend. Each friend’s gift includes 200 Stardust.

Trainers will get Stardust as a raid reward and by visiting gyms in general. Other types of battles like PVP and encounters with Team Rocket grunts also give out Stardust as a reward. Last but not least, sometimes the daily task and field research will reward Stardust.

If you are planning a day of exploring your surroundings, activating a Star Piece is a good option. A Star Piece allows players to earn 50% more Stardust for the next 30 minutes. Star Pieces are available in the store for 100 coins and a bundle of 8 for 640 coins.

All shiny Pokémon available in Pokémon GO in 2026 Zachary Roberts Getting a shiny Pokémon in Pokémon GO is an absolute treat. It's not as easy to hunt certain things on that game as it is on something like Legends: Z-A or Scarlet and Violet, but you can endlessly play by walking around. The shiny odds are much higher, too. At 1/512 base odds, it's much more likely than in a mainline game, where the odds are 1/4096. If you're interested ...

Additionally, it's a real Game of the Year contender. Yet, early sales reports indicate that the two are selling very similarly. FireRed ...
