Best Mega Charizard X counters
Mega Charizard X is a Dragon and Fire-type. That means it’s weak to Dragon, Ground, and Rock-type Pokemon. On the other hand, it has resistance to Bug, Electric, and Steel-type — and double resistance to Fire and Grass. All this means that you should stick to Dragon, Ground, and Rock Pokemon in most instances.
Here are some of the best counters:
- Mega Rayquaza
- Primal Groudon
- Mega Garchomp
- Mega Salamence
- Origin Forme Palkia
- Origin Forme Dialga

As you can probably guess, you should select Dragon, Ground, and Rock-type moves if you really want to damage Mega Charizard X.
You probably noticed a lot of these Pokemon are Mega evolutions. That’s because you will get more candy and XL candy when you catch Pokemon with a Mega evolution.
