Pokemon GO adds Hisuian Sneasel, Qwilfish, and Growlithe
Pokemon GO adds Hisuian Sneasel, Qwilfish, and Growlithe
The past is set to become the present with Pokemon GO adding a number of Hisuian Pokemon from Legends: Arceus including Sneasel, Qwilfish, and Growlithe.
Pokemon Legends: Arceus
was a smash hit game. The Nintendo Switch title launched in February and blew up established conventions of the Pokemon series with new ways of catching Pokemon, battle mechanics, and ways of traversing the world.
The game also added a
number of new regional variants. Pokemon GO players got a small taste of this with the release of Hisuian Voltorb, but now they’re set to get much more.
Pokemon GO is now set to add Hisuian Sneasel, Qwilfish, and Growlithe. Sneasel and Qwilfish both have brand new evolutions that players can add to their Pokedex, while Hisuian Growlithe evolves into Hisuian Arcanine. Here’s how to catch ‘em all.
How to get Hisuian Sneasel, Qwilfish, and Growlithe in Pokemon GO
Pokemon GO players can get themselves Hisuian Growlithe, Sneasel, Qwilfish, and Voltorb from new 7 kilometer eggs. Additionally, Hisuian Voltorb and Qwilfish can be found in the wild. For the time being, none of them are available as shinies.
These eggs will be available from July 27 to August 2. It’s unknown whether these Pokemon will disappear after or whether they will be added to 7 km eggs that have previously contained other regional variants.
The celebration of Pokemon Legends: Arceus and the Hisui region doesn’t end there. A 1,500 CP Hisui Cup will be available to play in PvP. The list of usable Pokemon is short, but includes the various Hisuian variants that are now available in Pokemon GO as well as those with Pokedex numbers between 387 to 493, which includes all Pokemon that were added in Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum.
A number of new avatar items and stickers will also be added. Among the stickers is a Hisuian Braviary sticker, though Hisuian Braviary is still not in the game as of this update.
