The best new Augments in Fortnite Chapter 4
Fortnite’s new season has brought new weapons, locations, and perhaps most importantly, new Augments, here are the best Augments in Fortnite
Chapter 4 Season 2.
Fortnite’s new season has brought a new list of Augments, which will be expanded as the season progresses. Some are returning from Season One, others are brand new to the game for Season Two. If you’re looking for exactly which Augments will serve you best in Fortnite MEGA, here’s everything you need to know.
Best new Augments in Chapter 4 Season 2
While we haven’t seen every Augment that will supposedly be added to the game as the season continues, there’s a strong contingent of initial choices.
Dignified Finish
The
Kinetic Blade katana
is the most influential weapon in the new season, bringing burst damage, displacement, and mobility all wrapped up in one. Dignified Finish allows even more uses of the Kinetic Blade’s Dash Attack. Dignified Finish makes it so that when you knock an enemy down, one Kinetic Blade Dash Attack cooldown is fully reset. This lets you close the gap for the kill, drop an opponent, and immediately dash to safety or further into the fight.
Medium Amp
Medium ammo weapons are the most versatile options in the game, from assault rifles to marksman rifles. Medium Amp expands the magazine size of all medium ammo weapons you use. This is a simple and quiet power boost that lets you stay in the fight for longer than usual.
Aerialist
Aerialist makes its return in Season Two, and it’s just as good as it was last season, possibly even better. Reopening your glider allows you greater mobility and safety when playing from high-altitude locations. This, combined with the Kinetic Blade’s dash attack, gives tons of flexibility, making you much more slippery than usual.
These three Augments are standing out as the best of the best at the start of the season, so get out there and put them to good use.
