Jhin is a unique AD carry among the ranks of Summoner’s Rift’s marksmen. Unable to gain bonus attack speed or critical strike chance, Jhin converts both of these crucial stats into pure attack damage. This combined with his unique four bullet trading pattern means he requires a different play sequence that most marksmen.

Looking to master this dynamic League of Legends champion? Here is the best Jhin build for the virtuoso bot laner.

What is the best Jhin build in League of Legends?

The current best items to build on Jhin focus on the Galeforce Mythic item and focus on critical strike chance to double down on his passive. Every fourth auto attack from Jhin automatically critically strikes, the only time that he can crit due to converting all crit chance into flat attack damage. This build focuses on keeping Jhin safe while he counts down to that explosive burst of unparalleled damage.

The ability of Galeforce to grant Jhin a dash is irreplaceably valuable, with his lack of any functional mobility being his most glaring weakness. Other items designed to keep him safe, like Rapid Firecannon, Youmuu’s Ghostblade, and Bloodthirster all pair well with Infinity Edge as his most critical item powers spike.

The most popular Jhin rune by far is Fleet Footwork. Jhin’s lack of mobility is his key weakness, and Fleet Footwork gives him some much-needed sustain while letting him chase down kills or kite back from enemies with the burst of movement speed.

For his abilities, Jhin maxes his Dancing Grenade first, followed by his Deadly Flourish and Captive Audience. Jhin’s grenade is his main source of damage outside of auto-attacks, and is absolutely crucial for early waveclear and midgame teamfights. Being able to set up a good grenade can turn an entire fight if the Jhin player is cogniscent of its usage.
