Logan Paul

Logan Paul has been trying to redeem himself after a lot of controversies over the years. But Ludwig Ahgren feels that the progress is ruined thanks to the reveal of Paul’s connections to CryptoZoo.

Famous investigative YouTuber Stephen “Coffeezilla” Findeisen recently made a video exposing Logan Paul’s involvement with CryptoZoo. CryptoZoo is a blockchain game where players invest cryptocurrency into purchasing animal NFTs. Paul has been promoting this game, leading to a lot of backlash from the content creator scene and beyond.

What is CryptoZoo?

CryptoZoo is a game where “zoo owners” can breed, collect, and trade exotic animals that come in the form of NFTs, or non-fungible tokens. Users can use the game’s native token, $ZOO, to purchase “NFT eggs” that are used to create new animals. The NFT animals will produce a certain amount of tokens depending on how rare the hybrid is, making users a profit.

Paul claimed that his team invested $1 million into CryptoZoo back in 2020. It was set to launch in the fall of 2021 initially, with 5,000 people initially signing up. But it’s now been abandoned for two years and investors have lost millions.

Ludwig reacts to Logan Paul CryptoZoo controversy

The whole CryptoZoo situation blew up when YouTuber Coffeezilla created a video diving deep into the details of the project. In a three-part video series, Coffeezilla dived deep into Paul’s involvement with CryptoZoo, uncovering a lot of wrongdoings and purposeful misleading. Many victims came forward to tell Coffeezilla how much they had lost, with some people admitting they lost hundreds of thousands of dollars.

This was unfortunate news for anyone following Paul’s redemption arc, since Paul has been called out for scamming people with other crypto projects in the past, most notably the Dink Doink coin, a now-failing meme.

Ludwig was the most recent streamer to react to Paul’s latest scandal. In a video released on December 27, Ludwig discussed the “huge Logan Paul drama” and how his redemption was “grinded to a halt” due to the CryptoZoo issue.

His biggest problem with Paul is the greed behind the entire CryptoZoo scheme. He said he couldn’t wrap his mind around Paul needing to get involved with things like CryptoZoo when he already has a home and enough money to support his family.

“Logan Paul is f—ing rich,” Ludwig started. “You don’t need me to tell you that.”

Ludwig went over all of the most recent examples of Paul’s greedy behavior, including purchasing Pokemon cards for millions of dollars, moving to Puerto Rico to save money on taxes, and trying to rip off his “loyal followers through a crypto scam.”

Ludwig said that he had a problem with Paul overhyping the game and then never starting on the project. Paul never paid anyone to make it, but still accepted money from fans and investors.

“He has no ability to actually create something of value or stick to his word,” Ludwig ranted.

Another problem Ludwig had with Paul is the handling of the outcome. After many people accused Paul of scamming them and even stealing some people’s money, Paul hasn’t really addressed CryptoZoo. Paul didn’t keep his promises to investors and fans, but was silent for years.

“Why did it take somebody making a three-part docu-series to finally own up to your f— ups and mistakes? He was super happy to sell his crypto eggs for $2.5 million. He was super happy to sell millions of dollars of CryptoZoo token, but not so happy to actually man up when he needed to on a project that he said, in his own words, ‘would make people money.'” said Ludwig.

Ever since Coffeezilla exposed Paul’s CryptoZoo scandal, Paul has invited Coffeezilla to chat with him on a podcast. Coffeezilla shared some email screenshots showing that Paul initially ignored his attempts at communication, stating that he was not willing to fly out to Paul’s “CryptoZoo tax haven.”

Meanwhile, Paul has also blocked Coffeezilla on social media.
