Tfue says playing Fortnite is now unfair because of aim assist

It looks like Turner “Tfue” Tenney may be looking to switch to Valorant after getting fed up with how “unfair” his original game of choice has been lately.

In a recent stream, Tfue started to get really frustrated after being eliminated by a “controller player with a fucking drum gun.” He immediately called Forntite “dog shit” before going into a longer rant on why the game that made him famous on Twitch is no longer any fun for him.

“It’s so fucking cringey, dude,” Tfue said. “Like, ‘Nice, dude. Sick fucking play. You really outplayed me there.’ I’d rather die to an AC130, like fuck. I’d rather just die from a giant missile coming from the sky than that. It’s the worst. This game sucks fat weiner, dude. Fortnite is hands down the most unfair game I’ve ever played in my entire life. The only reason I play is because it used to not be.”

Tfue added that he was going to load up Valorant at any moment to end the misery he kept facing on Fortnite.

Tfue bashes controller players in Fortnite

Tfue isn’t the first popular Fortnite player to air their frustration over controller players. Fortnite World Cup winner, Kyle “Bugha” Giersdorf, recently called using a controller “hacking,” due to the accompanying use of aim assist. He called on developer Epic Games to nerf aim assist after being eliminated by a controller player on stream.

“No keyboard and mouse player hits that shit. I just died, man. He doesn’t even mean to lock on to me either. It’s just hacking bro, it’s actually just hacking,” Bugha said.

Tyler “Ninja” Blevins is another popular Fortnite player who commonly complains about controller players having aim assist. He even told one of the top controller players in the world, Nick “Nickmercs” Kolcheff, that controllers are OP.

“Ninja, if it was OP all those motherfuckers would be playing it, and you know it,” Nickmercs argued to his teammate.

Fortnite is one of the only competitive games to have cross-play, meaning console players can compete with PC players. This has created a lot of heated debates about keyboard and mouse versus controller. At first, it looked like it was just PC players bashing controller players for playing with a huge disadvantage. But when Epic added aim assist to artificially even the gap, it soon became PC players bashing controller players for having such a big advantage.

As competitive Fortnite players continue to grow frustrated with aim assist, Epic may have to nerf the feature once again. Of course, Epic hasn’t been of too much help when it comes to the competitive side of the game, so it remains to be seen if anything will ever be done about this latest issue.
