Team Liquid vs. Team Nigma betting analysis
Team Nigma starts strong at ESL One Birmingham
Team Nigma started its run in the tournament with a hot winning streak. The team currently sits at the top spot in its group.
Team Nigma continues to play with the same roster it started the year with:
- Amer “Miracle-” Al-Barkawi
- Aliwi “w33” Omar

- Maroun “GH” Merhej

Team Nigma is earning some redemption after numerous disappointing results in previous tournaments. However, fans should keep in mind that Team Nigma hasn’t faced the powerhouse teams from its group yet. The last two series for Team Nigma are its matchup against Team Liquid and Team Secret. Although, Team Nigma’s undefeated score may earn them enough momentum to remain at the top.
After winning WeSave! Charity Play, Nigma fell short at ESL One Los Angeles Online. Team Nigma exited the tournament with a seventh-place finish.
This was followed by another unexpected result from WePlay! Pushka League. Team Nigma washed out in the group stage of the tournament, which was followed by another underperformance in Gamers Without Borders.
Team Liquid stumbles after its epic result at the previous tournament
Liquid has the chance to make it to the upper bracket with a win over Nigma. A loss might see the team miss the playoffs entirely, with Natus Vincere creeping up from behind.
Team Liquid aims to advance to the next stage with its roster:
- Michael “miCKe” Vu
- Max “qojqva” Bröcker
- Samuel “Boxi” Svahn
- Tommy “Taiga” Le
- Aydin “iNSaNiA” Sarkohi
Team Liquid recently posted a very strong performance in OGA Dota PIT 2020 Online. The team faced Europe’s powerhouse Team Secret in the grand finals series. Although Team Liquid failed to chalk up a matchup win, it still looked stronger than it has in recent months with its second-place run. Team Liquid also had an impressive third-place finish in the WePlay! Pushka League.
Team Liquid vs. Team Nigma ESL One Birmingham Online betting odds, predictions
Team Liquid and Team Nigma were pitted against each other several times in the past. In their five most recent matchups, Team Liquid has gotten the better of them with a 3-2 record. It’s also worth noting that the last two series between these teams ended in a 2-1 fashion, meaning these two teams are very evenly matched.
The betting odds reflect this, favoring Team Liquid by a small margin. Team Liquid is in a tricky spot right now and the team might be hungrier for a victory than Team Nigma, who already have a playoff spot locked up. Nigma still has a higher ceiling than Liquid however, meaning that this is a tough matchup to call.
