Stream Fighters 2 broke all the streaming records for Kick in Latin America. The event, hosted by Colombian streamer Luis “WestCol” Villa, is the first of its kind on Kick.

Boxing is the new pastime for streamers around the world, and with good reason. It is a profitable venture for content creators, with some of them, like Jake Paul, changing careers.

Stream Fighters 2 is the second edition of the event and the first to be hosted and sponsored by Kick. The fight featured streamers from Colombia, Argentina, and Spain.

Steam Fighters 2 took place in the Movistar Arena in Bogota, Colombia. The event had a capacity of over 5,600 attendants. It sold out three weeks before the event.

The event is similar to La Velada del Año, a boxing event hosted by Spanish streamer Ibai Llanos. The event is in its third edition. In 2023, Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa was supposed to fight in the event. Amouranth withdrew from the event, citing medical issues.

Stream Fighters 2 breaks Kick viewership records

The event featured musical guests in between the fights. Kick made it possible after signing Westcol for an exclusive deal. The Colombian streamer is one of the most popular in the region, with over 3 million followers across different social media platforms.

Westcol hosted the Stream Fighters 1 on Twitch back in 2022, where it achieved a 161,000 viewer peak. Stream Fighters 2 quadrupled that number with 808,000 peak viewership.

Other stats include:

To this date, no other stream on Kick has achieved such numbers, not even the biggest signings on the platform.

The winners of Stream Fighters 2 were:

Most of the winners are currently streaming on Kick exclusively.
