Michael “shroud” Grzesiek has played just about every FPS title out there, from Escape From Tarkov to Apex Legends to Valorant. The former professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player is known for his ridiculous mechanical skills in almost every game he plays. But fans noticed there was one game that shroud has yet to touch Destiny 2.

The streamer finally gave an answer to fans’ question on why he wasn’t playing the popular title.

In response, shroud explained that he actually thought about grinding Destiny 2 before back when his friends were also grinding the Bungie-made shooter. Then shroud noticed a few things that made the game lose its appeal.

shroud explains why he hasn’t streamed Destiny 2

It seems as though shroud has no plans to check off Destiny 2 on his list of game. The veteran streamer told fans why he hasn’t bothered with Destiny 2 on Twitch, and the answer is basically that he can’t stream it.

“Because of their restrictions on how you can capture Destiny 2 on stream, I didn’t play it. I was going to, it looked like fun… But as soon as I found out that I couldn’t capture the game on stream, I alt-F4’ed and uninstalled it instantly,” shroud explained.

According to shroud, there were a few ways around the issue but they weren’t good enough to bother reinstalling. shroud said that he could have display captured his Destiny 2 gameplay but it would have resulted in a “laggy” stream. This would have made it frustrating for his fans to watch as his reactions and the in-game action wouldn’t be synchronized.

What games does shroud play on Twitch?

So far, shroud hasn’t bothered to look into any other solutions. He currently bounces between Grand Theft Auto Online, Apex Legends, Escape from Tarkov, and Valorant on Twitch, bringing in tens of thousands of viewers each time. shroud has over 10 million followers on the streaming platform.

shroud recently stated that Apex Legends is the best battle royale at the moment. This has been one of his go-to titles as of late. He used to be big into PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds but has since favored Apex Legends when it comes to battle royale titles.
