Streamer Michael “shroud” Grzesiek is sometimes referred to as the”human aimbot” after his time as a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive pro. But lately, rumors have been floating around that shroud used an actual aimbot hack while playing PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.

Able to dominate in almost every game he plays, including PUBG, Apex Legends, and Fortnite, it’s no surprise that viewers have started to question if shroud uses aimbots or other hacks to maintain his pinpoint accuracy in every title he touches.

shroud usually ignores these accusations, but when fellow streamer Jaryd “summit1g” Lazar decided to discuss the aimbot rumors on stream, shroud finally responded.

summit1g talks Shroud aimbot rumors

After a fan sent summit1g a donation, he asked the streaming personality to check out a video accusing shroud of cheating when he first started playing PUBG.

summit1g read the accuser’s statement on the matter out loud, which state that shroud being a talented FPS player doesn’t exclude him from using hacks. After, summit1g turned to the camera with a confused look on his face.

“Huh? shroud, you be cheating, brother?” Summit1g asked. “I always knew it, dude. Hey, listen, how do you get them onto every single game you play by the way?”

To further prove his sarcastic point, summit1g then asks shroud where he gets his all-powerful hacks from.

With summit1g bringing attention to the year-old video, which boasts having “incriminating evidence” against shroud, the former CSGO pro decided to speak out against the accusations himself.

“I’ve noticed some of the people in my chat have been talking about it and I’m like boys, that shit is old news, we’re past that,” shroud said in a recent Mixer stream

shroud then started laughing at summit1g’s reaction to the video, noting that his fellow streamer “is in disbelief” over how “lost” the creator of the accusation video is.

After regaining his composure, shroud told his fans that anyone who is using aimbots and other cheats for an extended period of time would be caught. Especially someone as popular as shroud, who constantly has his streams watched and analyzed by followers.

“If you tried hard enough, you could cheat and probably get away with it for a decent bit,” shroud added. “Now, the tricky part is how long can you get away with it? I would say, realistically, if you were cheating at tournaments, live events, on stream, and in regular games, you would probably get caught no more than like a year or two later.”

According to shroud, there are people who will always believe he’s cheating no matter what.
