The swank Sentinel has finally landed under Riot’s nerf hammer, and Valorant players are elated. Leaked Chamber nerfs sound promising enough to clock him back after the agent has come to dominate the game.Â
The French agent has been getting a lot of hate recently for his golden guns, workable TP, and slowing gadget. Chamber was a jack of all trades, simultaneously aggressing onto enemies while managing flanks. He played less like a Sentinel and more like an overpowered hybrid who could outplay duelists. All of this has prompted developers at Riot to take a second look at his kit.Â
ValorLeaks has revealed that Chamber is the next agent in line to get significant nerfs. The leaked changes are game-changing and may finally align him with other Sentinels. These Chamber nerfs in Valorant will apply from patch 5.03.
Chamber nerfs will include his entire kit soon, according to ValorLeaks. Players are most thankful for the price boost on the pistol, the ult point changes, and increased cooldowns.Â
Here are all the Chamber nerfs for Valorant patch 5.03:
Simply put, Chamber may feel a bit less agile, and his impact on the overall game economy will also take a hit. Ult point changes are also a much-needed nerf that will hold him back from pulling out the big guns quite so often.
While this reads great on paper, many believe that Chamber’s true power lies in his ability to TP instantly, and Chamber’s TP ability remains untouched.Â
Chamber’s accuracy with his pistol and his access to an instant TP may still make him the top Sentinel pick. His flank gadget is also powerful. However, the new changes may convince some players to consider other agents, bringing a better balance to Valorant. It will be interesting to see how the new Chamber nerfs in Valorant work out in practice.Â
