Pokimane announces RTS talent management for streamers, esports
Imane “Pokimane” Anys has announced her new talent management and brand consulting firm.
Pokimane is now the co-founder and chief creative officer of RTS, officially launched on October 27. The talent management firm has the goal of “fixing what is broken” within the gaming and esports industries when it comes to brand partnerships and talent management. Pokimane is hoping to make creators’ lives easier and help companies integrate into gaming, according to a tweet.
What is Pokimane’s RTS?
Pokimane is being joined by CEO Stuart Saw, who previously worked at Twitch, Kim Phan, an ex-Blizzard employee who is now RTS’ COO, Sue Lee, another former Twitch employee who is now vice president, and Jason Scorrano, RTS vice president of sales and partnerships.
RTS is already working with Epic Games and Facebook, helping to run the Fortnite World Cup and increasing viewership on its streaming platforms. RTS’ next project is managing the next EVO figthing game championship event.
“I keep seeing amazing creators that are doing wonders with their content and streams, but they don’t have the support to grow their brand and business operations,” Pokimane said in a release. “They’re spinning their wheels on basic stuff and taking a lot of frustrating partnership deals that don’t work out for either party involved.”
Pokimane herself has “gone through the wringer,” which makes RTS a very personal project for her. Her goal is to take her “years of experience” and make it accessible to newer creators so they don’t have to go through the same challenges she “endured” throughout her career.
