Imane “Pokimane” Anys has responded to allegations from Corinna Kopf that she promoted gambling in the past.

The Twitch community is full of drama at the moment due to ongoing concerns over the ever-growing gambling category. Pokimane and other big content creators recently discussed a possible strike in an attempt to get Twitch to take action, something it later did on Twitter. Pokimane has been very outspokenly against gambling streams, which makes it all the more shocking she was accused of promoting gambling by Kopf.

On social media, Kopf retweeted screenshots of Pokimane that show a gambling website on her monitor. She tagged Pokimane, telling her she should delete the video the screenshots come from since it “promotes gambling.”

Pokimane took notice of the shade on Twitter, thanking Kopf for the “amazing suggestion.”

“Now that you’ve lost your job promoting illegal crypto gambling websites, would you like to join my YouTube editing team? Is that what you’re asking here?” Pokimane added.

Pokimane also noted that it wasn’t even her gambling in the video. The gambling stream on the monitor was actually her friend’s broadcast, not hers.

Seeing how much influence Pokimane has on Twitch, Kopf has responded to Pokimane’s latest stream by sarcastically saying she may try to get her “banned” from Twitch. Unlike Pokimane, Kopf is not pleased with Twitch’s decision to ban gambling, most likely since a lot of her content involves promoting gambling sites on her broadcasts.

“Everyone is so soft nowadays. You are influenced to do so many things that are not good for you financially, physically, and mentally every day,” Kopf said.
