Another wave of cozy gaming is upon us. Palia is a game described as “low pressure” and lacking any “physical, social, and emotional threats.” Spend time hunting, crafting, cooking, and relaxing with friends in this Animal Crossing-like game. If you need an escape, Palia is now offering early access with an open beta.
Palia is a “cozy world” full of stunning landscapes to explore and activities that will take your mind off the real world, like collecting bugs, fishing, farming, and foraging. You can also design your home with thousands of customizable options. The game is also being boasted as a game to play with friends but you can play at your own pace.
Developers are now offering early access so you can start experiencing Palia now.
Palia is currently in an open beta that’s available on PC. It offers access to the game ahead of its release.
All you have to do is head to the Palia website and create an account. Then you can fill out a form that includes a few bits of personal information. You can also enter a referral code if you have one.
The closed beta started on August 2 and ended on August 10. Now, Palia will enter its open beta phase and become available for everyone. All you have to do is head to the official site, log in, download, and play.
Your progress from the beta will carry over when the full game launches, including anything you purchased.
Right now, Palia doesn’t have a confirmed release date. Developers have stated, however, that it will be scheduled for winter of 2023.
If you want to play the beta, you can currently only play it on PC. But Palia will be available on PC and Nintendo Switch.
You can currently pre-order Palia on the Nintendo Switch eShop. If you’re playing on PC, you can only get the game on Palia’s official site.
Palia is currently not said to be coming to Xbox or PlayStation.
