Stardew Valley’s creator Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone, revealed some of the elements included in the Stardew Valley update 1.6.
After three years, Stardew Valley will receive an update, version 1.6. ConcernedApe shared everything that will be included, or almost everything.
According to the developer, Stardew Vallet 1.6 includes:
The festivals are scheduled events that take place every year. During the event, the entire town closes down, and all responsibilities, like feeding the animals, are automated. This is so players can enjoy the festival throughout the entire day. A new festival means a whole new free day on the player’s calendar.
As for the secrets, it is possible to speculate based on previous updates. 1.4 brought Krobus, a new resident that could be added as a roommate. 1.5 added a new island to the game.
1.6 could include a new resident or unveil a new area for players to explore. It could also add a new gameplay element to the game. The exact date for the update is yet to be revealed.
Every time ConcernedApe makes an announcement related to Stardew Valley, players inevitably start asking questions about Haunted Chocolatier.
Haunted Chocolatier is the second game by ConcernedApe. It is not a sequel to Stardew Valley but instead its own game. In Haunted Chocolatier, the main character runs a chocolate shop at a haunted castle. Their job is to gather ingredients to prepare the chocolate. There is no farming involved in the game
According to the creator, he is following a similar development process to Stardew Valley, meaning that he is working on the game on his own.
Back in 2022, ConcernedApe shared an update about the game, but it has been quiet about it ever since. He admitted that he will release the game once he is satisfied with the final product. If he never gets to that point, he will refrain from releasing the game at all.
