Netflix revealed more details about live action version of One Piece, coming to our screens this year.

One Piece is one of the longest-running anime in history, with over a thousand episodes. It is based on a manga of the same name written by Eiichiro Oda, published for the first time in 1997. According to Oda, the manga could be coming to an end in 2024 or 2025. However, nothing is set in stone. The writer is known for pushing the ending date in favor of adding new content.

In 2023, fans of the anime will receive even more content, this time with live action produced by Netflix. Details about the show were revealed during the TUDUM 2023 event.

Netflix has been vague about the plot but clarified that it will have significant changes in comparison to anime and manga. These changes sparked a conversation about whether live actions like this are necessary or not. Rest assured, the changes will make sense because Oda is one of the executive producers of the show.
