Ninja lashes out in a big way at Fortnite Season 2 "haters"

Tyler “Ninja” Blevins is coming to Epic’s aid once again and defending Fortnite against “haters.”

Fortnite’s Chapter 2 Season 1 was the longest lasting season in the battle royal’s history, with Season 2 being postponed multiple times. Many players found themselves getting impatient, their imaginations souring and expectations rising. Of course, fans were hoping for a lot after the delay.

After streaming Season 2 for his Mixer followers for a few days, Ninja proclaimed that he was “in love” with the update. He said it felt like “old Fortnite” and appreciated the added mobility options.

“Fortnite is starting to feel like old times again. This battle pass is also one of the best in a long time,” Ninja tweeted, listing quicker fights, more mobility, and The Agency as the reasons behind his excitement over the update.

The tweet garnered a mixed response from his followers, with some even asking his long-time rival, Turner “Tfue” Tenney, to start some beef with him. In the past, Ninja has criticized Tfue for bashing Fortnite and being too negative about the game.

But it looks like Tfue didn’t even need to get involved for Ninja to come face to face with what he viewed as negativity towards the new season.

While playing with SypherPK, Nate Hill, and Funk, Ninja was asked in chat how he felt about the new season after all the “let downs.”

“What are you talking about? This is one of the best seasons and updates they’ve had in the last four seasons. This is better than nine, eight, 10,” Ninja proclaimed.

Ninja calls out haters, calls them “stupid little kids”

When prompted to continue discussing his feelings over Season 2, Ninja admitted he still gets TikToks showing old Fortnite clips with the text “It’s so sad Fortnite’s dying” on the screen. This seemed to really send Ninja into a rage mid-game, and Legendary miniguns weren’t helping.

“These stupid little kids don’t get it. They don’t give it a chance. It’s toxic. It’s not going anywhere, you might as well start playing it again because it’s fun as shit,” Ninja ranted.

SypherPK responded that streamers are often saying the same thing, saying that Fortnite “needs to die.” This seemed to frustrate Ninja as well.

“The people who are still hating on this game are just ones that have fallen off, like Sypher said. Who didn’t put the time in to get good at it, and are just complaining because they’re not good,” he said. “Or they’re just haters, man.”

Even though a lot of people are not fans of the update, Ninja said it’s the “most fun” the game has been in a long time. Unlike when B.R.U.T.E.S were taking over the map, now Ninja is excited to play Solos and clear out The Agency for a good few hours.

Officially launching in November 2025, this update gave gamers a chance to have a little partner in their Battle Royale. They don't do anything, but some players quite enjoy having SpongeBob, Groot, Bonesy, Pink Pony, Ace the Bat-Hound, and others by their side. Finally, though, there is going to be a reason to have sidekicks. Epic ...

Fortnite x Obsession collab could be in the works as teaser drops Zachary Roberts Nowadays, anything popular ends up getting a Fortnite crossover. Even if it doesn't make a whole lot of sense. There's an American Dad crossover, a Game of Thrones collaboration, and so much more that at one point would've been totally shocking to a gamer. That includes popular movies. Even before it truly hit theaters and took off, there were skins for The Odyssey in the Item Shop. Similarly, another 2026 smash ...
Fortnite adds over 30 AI voices to skins for Creative mode Fortnite
Fortnite adds over 30 AI voices to skins for Creative mode Zachary Roberts Fortnite has come under fire recently for its usage of AI, with one collaboration immediately reexamining the partnership after that revelation. Generative AI usage in games is generally frowned upon by gamers, although game developers are more commonly using it now. That, of course, includes Epic Games, which has just sort of doubled down on the AI usage in Fortnite. However, instead of the normal gen AI, Epic has assigned ...

Fortnite collaboration in danger after generative AI revelation Fortnite
Fortnite collaboration in danger after generative AI revelation Zachary Roberts Fortnite has crossovers with so many different things. If Epic Games wants something in the game, it usually happens. Whether it's Darth Vader, Spider-Man, Batman, Patrick Mahomes, LeBron James, Sabrina Carpenter, or Khaby Lame, anything the developers want usually ends up in the game. It's rare for a collaboration to end up cancelled, but there's real danger of that happening right now. Vampire Survivors was supposed to have a collaboration ...
