Ninja lashes out in a big way at Fortnite Season 2 "haters"

Tyler “Ninja” Blevins is coming to Epic’s aid once again and defending Fortnite against “haters.”

Fortnite’s Chapter 2 Season 1 was the longest lasting season in the battle royal’s history, with Season 2 being postponed multiple times. Many players found themselves getting impatient, their imaginations souring and expectations rising. Of course, fans were hoping for a lot after the delay.

After streaming Season 2 for his Mixer followers for a few days, Ninja proclaimed that he was “in love” with the update. He said it felt like “old Fortnite” and appreciated the added mobility options.

“Fortnite is starting to feel like old times again. This battle pass is also one of the best in a long time,” Ninja tweeted, listing quicker fights, more mobility, and The Agency as the reasons behind his excitement over the update.

The tweet garnered a mixed response from his followers, with some even asking his long-time rival, Turner “Tfue” Tenney, to start some beef with him. In the past, Ninja has criticized Tfue for bashing Fortnite and being too negative about the game.

But it looks like Tfue didn’t even need to get involved for Ninja to come face to face with what he viewed as negativity towards the new season.

While playing with SypherPK, Nate Hill, and Funk, Ninja was asked in chat how he felt about the new season after all the “let downs.”

“What are you talking about? This is one of the best seasons and updates they’ve had in the last four seasons. This is better than nine, eight, 10,” Ninja proclaimed.

Ninja calls out haters, calls them “stupid little kids”

When prompted to continue discussing his feelings over Season 2, Ninja admitted he still gets TikToks showing old Fortnite clips with the text “It’s so sad Fortnite’s dying” on the screen. This seemed to really send Ninja into a rage mid-game, and Legendary miniguns weren’t helping.

“These stupid little kids don’t get it. They don’t give it a chance. It’s toxic. It’s not going anywhere, you might as well start playing it again because it’s fun as shit,” Ninja ranted.

SypherPK responded that streamers are often saying the same thing, saying that Fortnite “needs to die.” This seemed to frustrate Ninja as well.

“The people who are still hating on this game are just ones that have fallen off, like Sypher said. Who didn’t put the time in to get good at it, and are just complaining because they’re not good,” he said. “Or they’re just haters, man.”

Even though a lot of people are not fans of the update, Ninja said it’s the “most fun” the game has been in a long time. Unlike when B.R.U.T.E.S were taking over the map, now Ninja is excited to play Solos and clear out The Agency for a good few hours.
