The brand new Escape From Tarkov wipe is here, arriving on December 8 with lots of new changes and even a brand new map, here’s everything in the new Escape From Tarkov 0.13 patch.

The long-awaited urban combat of the new Streets of Tarkov map is arriving on this patch, and fans can get their first chance to experience what the cramped conditions of it are like. There are also the expected systems and mechanics changes that come with every wipe, but this time Battlestate Games has added a brand-new Co-op PvE expansion to the notoriously brutal PvP shooter.

Here are all the details of the new Escape From Tarkov 0.13 patch.

Streets of Tarkov lands in Escape From Tarkov 0.13

Streets of Tarkov is the brand new map added to Escape From Tarkov this patch. It’s a tight, claustrophobic section of Tarkov’s urban cityscape with tons of accessible buildings and exposed streets. There are 15-17 Private Military Contractor players on the Streets of Tarkov map, making it the single most-populated map in the entire game. The full details of the map are still being searched out by dedicated players, for now, most of its secrets remain a mystery that is being uncovered by Tarkov’s PMCs at this very moment.

New PvE mode in Escape From Tarkov

Some players can find the permanent consequences, ridiculous customization depth, and punishing gameplay of Tarkov to be an unfun experience. A new addition to this patch looks to change this without interrupting the persistent experience of other players. The previously single-player-only “offline mode” has been turned into a cooperative mode that only includes members of a single team and AI opponents. This mode can be accessed when selecting a map to play as normal, with options to turn off water depletion and energy. Overall it seems to be a more friendly solution for groups who want a more relaxing way to experience Tarkov or the ability to scout out a new map.
