Even months after the allegations of inappropriate behavior came out, the Dr Disrespect saga continues to unfold. Now, the embattled creator finds himself in search of a new home to stream on, even as YouTube has stalled his re-monetization request.

Has Dr Disrespect Come Back to YouTube?

On October 25, 2024, Dr Disrespect revealed that YouTube is postponing a decision on his channel for another 60 days. Once that time elapses, he will be able to reapply for monetization again. As we previously reported, the streamer applied weeks ago to have his monetization reinstated. When the married father admitted to sending inappropriate texts to a minor, several sponsors dropped him and YouTube demonetized his account.

Now, he is trying to regain his channel’s status on YouTube to no avail. Worse still, Twitch and Kick (which has a reputation for hosting controversial streamers) have said that they will not be allowing him to stream on their platforms. One site that might be giving him a chance is Rumble. Its CEO Chris Pavlovski responded to a post on Twitter/X from Dr Disrespect and fans have begun to speculate. In a tweet, the streamer said,  “Make Gaming Great Again,” and Pavlovski responded with the eyes emoji.

He later unveiled limited edition merch that used the same tagline and fans seemed to respond positively to this. With all the rumors about him moving to Rumble, he’s done little to dissuade them.

In the stream announcing the decision on YouTube, he teased that better things were on the way.

“Okay, then let’s wait another 60 days. We might have something much, much bigger. One of the biggest opportunities to date for the two-time,” he said.

In the wake of this, fans have flocked to Rumble CEO Chris Pavlovski’s page to ask about the possibility of Dr Disrespect joining the roster. Replying to a fan who mentioned Asmongold (who was banned from Twitch over comments on Palestine), he said that the platform believes in ‘forgiveness’.

Soon, we shall see if Dr Disrespect does remain with YouTube or migrates to Rumble.
