MrBeast reaches 100 million subscribers while YouTube streaming
Popular YouTuber Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson has finally reached 100 million subscribers, the second YouTuber to do so after Felix “PewDiePie” Kjellberg.
MrBeast has been blowing up the past few years thanks to over-the-top viral videos with massive production costs and larger-than-life personalities. MrBeast joined YouTube in 2012 and started to grow rapidly in 2017 thanks to his challenge videos and massive giveaways. His massive Squid Game video was one of his latest stunts, but MrBeast has another up his sleeve thanks to hitting the incredible milestone.
Earlier in July, MrBeast told his followers on Twitter that he was planning his “most expensive” video yet for when he reached 100 million subscribers. MrBeast called the special video “insane” but didn’t offer any clues as to what the mystery video would be about. But with a budget of over $3.5 million, the possibilities are endless.
When will MrBeast upload his 100 million special video?
Reaching the 100 million subscriber mark was huge for MrBeast. He reached 100 million while livestreaming with over 1 million viewers.
“YouTube is the one thing that’s always made me happy and I’m grateful I get to do this all day every day,” MrBeast said.
MrBeast added that his goal is to make the “best videos possible” while helping as many people as he can.
“Also I just want to say that no matter how big I get I’ll never own a mansion, yacht, Lamborghini etc. All I want is to make the best videos possible and help as many people as I can while doing it,” MrBeast tweeted.
While MrBeast has been celebrating the giant W all over social media, he has yet to mention anything about the expensive video coming to YouTube. For now, the release date as well as the topic of the pricey video are both a mystery to fans.
