Charles “MoistCr1TiKaL” White has released a new comic book, Plague Seeker.

In a video titled “Sobriety,” Moist announced that he now has a second comic book series after months of cryptic hints. Plague Seeker is a project he talked about a while back, and he said he’s been working on it for over a year. God Slap was his first foray into comics, but Plague Seeker is a comic book written entirely by him with art by Vampkire Trannel.

What is Plague Seeker about?

After going into a little spiel about how he’s never really been an alcoholic, Moist spent the majority of the “Sobriety” video talking about Plague Seeker. The story takes place 1,000 years ago when Earth was hit by an asteroid, creating an event called the Calamity.

When this happened, most humans “vaporized instantly,” but the surviving humans were mutated. The closer to the center of the impact, the more powerful the mutation. These surviving humans have been dubbed “plagues,” with some being more “vicious” and “blood-thirsty” than others.

Eight are the most powerful, and they control the planet since nobody can match their strength or abilities. But there was actually another plague born right at the Calamity’s epicenter, “where nothing had the right to survive.” This creature is “far different” than any other plague due to its desire to devour the other eight great plagues. His name is the Plague Seeker, and the comic follows his quest to eat all of the plagues.

Is Plague Seeker available?

Right now, you can purchase Issue 0, which lays out the foundation of the Plague Seeker universe. It comes with a journal as well that helps flesh out the world with some entries by survivors. There are also two variant covers, just like Moist did with God Slap.

The comic can be purchased here for $12. The two variant covers are $17.

“I’m extremely excited about everything here,” Moist said. “The art is jaw-dropping. Very, very happy with everything here.”
