Madden NFL 24 released the first footage of the game’s gameplay. The sports-simulation title will improve on elements that fans have criticized before.

Madden 24 is almost here. The latest installment in the NFL franchise is set for release on August 18. The game that has Buffalo Bills star Josh Allen on the cover is creating more hype with all the changes in gameplay.

Madden NFL 24 improves gameplay

In a showcase hosted by Madden NFL 24, players had the opportunity to appreciate some of the improvements coming to the game.

They will add dive throw, upgrade the run blocking and catching system, and remove all no-look pass animations. The goal is to make the experience smoother and closer to reality.

When it comes to passes, the chances of completing them successfully or failing were modified. The exact changes are unclear, but according to the developers, having a good receiver will impact the gameplay.

Madden 24 will make use of SAPIEN technology. This system allows the players to move in more natural ways that are closer to a real-life player. Better models will result in better animation and better gameplay.

EA Sports will make good on its promise to add cross-platform functionality to Madden 24. It will also bring back the Superstar mode, a mode that was part of early games in the franchise. Players will have the opportunity to experience the NFL as a superstar.

Superstar Showdown is the new 3v3 online mode. The new game modes will be exclusive for players on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Those who enjoy the franchise mode will have new mini-games to play. It also added relocation options, more options to modify the contracts, and free agents.

Madden 24 is coming out on August 18. EA Play subscribers and those who pre-ordered the special edition will have access on August 15.
