Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok’s Hall of Legends collection in League of Legends will set you back a whopping $450, and players aren’t happy about that.

Riot Games earlier announced Faker as the first inductee for the LoL Hall of Legends. It’s an in-game event that celebrates the best players annually. While fans had their own guesses about who the first inductee would be, Riot went with Faker, who it thinks is the face of LoL.

The Hall of Legends doesn’t merely offer a title to a pro player but also allows players to partake in the festivities by buying pricey cosmetics. In the case of Faker, Riot has pulled out all the stops with the Ahri collection, a set of skins that are sure to be a hit among fans.

How much does Ahri collection for Faker cost?

The Signature Immortalized Legend collection of Faker’s Ahri skins cost a whopping 59,260 RP, which translates to roughly $434. By purchasing this collection, you get access to all the packages in the Hall of Legends event.

The Risen Legend collection will include a base skin and a taunt. It’s fairly cheap at 5,430 RP. At 32,430 RP, the Immortalized Legend collection offers full access to Risen contents, exclusive finishers, a custom announcer, Demon King skin transformation, and more.

While many fans of Faker are eager to add the Ahri collection to their inventory, the LoL community is voicing its discontent over the steep pricing. Players argue that the skins are priced unfairly, making them unattainable for many. While the base version is more affordable, fans were hoping for a chance to acquire the best items.

In any case, the revenue generated from the weapons will go to Faker as well, at least 30% of it. So, if you can afford the skins, you may want to prepare your wallet for June 15. The event will kick start on June 12, 2024, at 11 a.m. PDT.
