To the surprise of very few, Logan Paul has entered the NFT game. Logan Paul has introduced 99 Originals, an NFT project he started working on after his stint as a boxer.

“I still wanted to create something that was timeless, something that reflected who I was behind the camera,” Paul said in a trailer for the project.

For 99 days, Paul aimed to take the “craziest” photos he could using a Polaroid camera. At first, the images ranged from half-naked women to wacky stunts with his friends to images of him in the ring. But Paul soon realized he needed to “dive a bit deeper” to find more authentic moments.

“This is real. Life isn’t short. You just gotta do more,” Paul said. “I gotta push my mind and body to the deepest, darkest depths. And in there, there was light. And it was beautiful.”

What makes 99 Originals NFT different?

Logan Paul’s project is apparently more than just NFTs. He stated that there will be a docuseries about his “journey” to go along with it, and fans that purchased a 99 Original NFT will be able to become part of the Originals DAO.

DAO stands for decentralized autonomous organization. Fans that are part of this group will receive special roles on the 99 Originals Discord and be able to vote for various community projects. These lucky fans will also be able to access “exclusive experimental events.”

How do you get a 99 Originals NFT?

The images will be sold one by one in an auction with no set price. This auction originally supposed to take place on April 17, but it was continuously postponed. Now the 99 Originals NFT auction is set for May 9.

According to an update video posted on the 99 Originals Discord server, the delays were due to events including Formula 1 and Mother’s Day. Starting Monday, May 9, one NFT will be auctioned off each day, meaning 99 days of auctions.

The auctions will take place on the Originals website.

How will the 99 Originals NFT auction work?

One NFT will be auctioned off each day. The auctions will run for 24 hours. There will be a 15-minute reset timer for bids placed within the last 15 minutes of the auction.

Each bid must be for 10% more than the current bid amount. There is no set bidding amount, but with such a rabid fanbase behind Logan Paul, it’s possible that the NFTs will go for a high price.

As is the case with most NFTs, the 99 Originals can only be purchased with cryptocurrency. Interested fans will have to connect their Wallet and bid with Ethereum (ETH).
