Valorant’s official cinematics always leave the fanbase asking for more and it seems that Riot has listened, according to the leaks.Â
Riot sure knows how to build up lore with immersive, tear-jerking cinematics that always leave the players wondering just how awesome a Valorant anime would be. After Arcane, Riot might be cooking something for Valorant fans as well, according to the leakers.Â
Valorant leaker and influencer Kingdom Laboratories took to X, sharing a link to a teaser that’s still more than 400 days away from the premier. The video is titled “Trailer: Valorant O Filme (2025).”Â
The thumbnail doesn’t seem like the real deal, but several other renowned Valorant leakers have reshared it. According to Kingdom Laboratories, Riot is developing a movie based on Valorant’s lore, which will be released in 2025. However, fans will be able to catch the trailer in October 2024. Â
Riot is producing a Valorant film with Tencent if leaks are to be believed.Â
It’s currently hard to say how true the claim is, but it has already rocked the Valorant community, which is eager to watch its favorite agents in action. So far, Valorant cinematics have been high in production value, doing justice to the nail-biting lore.
So, there’s no qualms about Riot’s capability to produce an immersive movie as well. Arcane also demonstrates Riot’s skill in representing the game’s core story effectively.
While it’s undoubtedly an exciting teaser, Riot hasn’t yet commented on it. The developer previously said that the Valorant theme show or a movie isn’t out of the question, but it’s not their priority.Â
“Arcane was amazing! We’d be lying if we claimed not to have hopes and dreams of one day delivering something of that stature in the VALORANT Universe, but wow, our LoL cousins set an insanely high bar with the series!” Valorant creative director David Nottingham said. Â
Maybe 2025 is the time when Riot finally published a Valorant movie.
