Keeping Sharp schedule and pricing in Pokemon Go

Axew will be featured in the upcoming June 2023 Community Day in Pokemon Go. The event includes a special research named Keeping Sharp.

Axew is a Dragon type Pokemon from the Unova region. Its final evolution is Haxorus, a bipedal Pokemon that was featured in the Pokemon anime. Axew made its Pokemon Go back in 2020 during the Trade Evolution event. The shiny version was added during the Pokemon Go Fest in 2022.

Axew June 2023 Community Day schedule

The June 2023 Community Day featuring Axew in Pokemon Go is taking place on June 10. The event will run from 2:00 p.m. through 5:00 p.m. local time.

For three hours, the spawning rate of Axew will increase with a higher chance of finding a shiny version. Every Axew that evolves into Haxorus during the event will know Charge Attack Breaking Swipe.

Axew June 2023 Community Day bonuses

The event has special bonuses, including:

3× XP for catching Pokémon.
2× Candy for catching Pokémon.
2× chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokémon.
Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours.
Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours.
One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of three for the day.
Trades will require 50% less Stardust.

There will be a special four-star Raid Battle featuring Fraxure. Once the Raid is completed, more Axew will spawn around the gym.

Keeping Sharp event in Pokemon Go

Paid Special Researches have become a common practice in Pokemon Go. Keeping Sharp is the Special Research for Axew’s Community Day.

Players who wish to take part in Keeping Sharp must purchase a special pass that costs $1.00. The tickets are now available in the in-game store. Players can gift these tickets to their friends as long as they have reached the Great Friends friendship level or higher. The rewards include additional encounters with Axew.
