JD Gaming is the LPL’s first seed and overall favorite to win Worlds 2023. Follow JDG’s schedule closely as they are close to making history.

In a competitive year, there are four possible titles for a team to win. Two domestic titles, Spring and Summer, the Mid-Season Invitational, and Worlds. JDG has three in the bag and is going for the biggest one yet.

JDG is regarded as one of, if not the best team in the world. The previous iterations of JDG were remarkable, but the 2023 lineup is on a completely different level. JDG upgraded its bottom lane with the addition of Park “Ruler” Jae-hyuk and became unstoppable.

As the first seed from LPL, JDG will start its Worlds 2023 run on the Swiss Stage.

JD Gaming Worlds 2023 Schedule

Worlds 2023 changed its format from a regular group stage to a Swiss bracket.

Round One – October 19

All 16 teams will play an initial best of one match.

Round Two – October 20

The winners from Round One will face each other and the losers will do the same. All matches are to the best of one.

Round Three – October 21, 22, 23

The results from day one and two will determine the matches for Round Three. The team that finishes with three consecutive victories will advance to the Knockout Stage. Games are to the best of three.

Round Four – October 26, 27, 28

Teams continue to play. Whoever secures its third win advances to the Knockout Stage. Series are to the best of three.

Round 5 – October 29

Final chance to qualify, only three teams will move forward.

Quarterfinals – November 2, 3, 4, 5

Eight teams enter the Knockout Stage. This stage is a single elimination bracket, all matches are to the best of five.

The remaining four teams will fight for a spot at finals.

Finals – November 19

The grand finals, whoever wins, takes the Summoner’s Cup home.
