In a surprising twist, Darren “IShowSpeed” Watkins Jr. has been allowed back on Twitch.
Previously permabanned for sexist behavior, IShowSpeed is being given a second chance to stream on Twitch. IShowSpeed is known for his wild antics, including an accidental flashing incident that got him booted from YouTube for a bit and then recently almost passing out from a science experiment gone wrong.
Despite his bad behavior, however, IShowSpeed is back on Twitch.
Despite some setbacks, IShowSpeed has been growing on YouTube. He currently has over 30 million subscribers on there, showing his unwavering popularity.
Now, IShowSpeed is being granted the same opportunity on Twitch once again. Why? Apparently, Twitch’s CEO, Dan Clancy, had a change of heart. This could possibly be due to Kai Cenat asking for IShowSpeed’s return. Because a month later, Clancy said he wants to give some streamers a “second chance.”
Would it be IShowSpeed, many wondered? Apparently yes.
If you go to IShowSpeed’s Twitch channel, he’s most definitely back. Right now, he has 293,000 followers. It will be interesting to see how many fans follow him to Twitch in the next few days.
