The speculation never ends with Herschel “Dr Disrespect” Beahm’s fanbase. Recently, his viewers wondered if he was planning to stream on Twitter, and Dr Disrespect has claimed he’d be willing, but only under certain conditions.
The Two-Time is one of the most popular streamers in the world, recognizable for his over-the-top persona, mullet, and strong opinions on the gaming industry. After getting permanently banned from Twitch, Dr Disrespect turned to YouTube to stream, claiming the future may have him focused more on creating video games instead anyway.
This possible plan hasn’t stopped Dr Disrespect from chasing a better streaming deal. Earlier this year, the Two-Time demanded $50 million from Kick in exchange for a deal with the controversial platform. This was turned down at the time, but his fans have continued to read into his tweets and statements, curious if he is still planning to leave.
This time, they are wondering if he would stream on Twitter or X.
The gaming world was quite entertained when they found out that streaming was possible on Twitter. X purchaser Elon Musk had a successful gaming livestream where over 1 million fans watched him play Diablo 4 on his own platform.
Since then, more gamers have started contemplating doing the same. Is Dr Disrespect next?
During a recent stream, Dr Disrespect discussed the possibility of moving to X. While he would consider it, Dr Disrespect had some demands if it were to happen. Basically, Musk would have to get in touch.
He said: āIf Elon showed up at the La Casa via his brand-new Tesla truck and says, āDoc, youāre the best at what you doā ā which is⦠Elon, duh. Duh, Elon. I know Iām the best at what I do. If he were to approach me with, āHey, letās build this platform, letās get some ā I want streaming to be taken to the next level.ā āCause thatās what we do, we take things to the next level. We always have, and we always will.”
Is that a yes?
“As of right now, Iād be yes. Letās do it. As of right now,” Dr Disrespect confirmed.
While Twitter may be in the works, YouTube Gaming recently announced a teaser related to the Two-Time on Twitter. The streaming platform posted a silhouette of the streamer with a question mark over it, leading many to believe a big deal was underway to keep him on YouTube.
