Into the Arcane has been a browser-based narrative event where League of Legends players have been able to dive into documents concerning their favorite champions from the hit animated series Arcane. After Arcane’s finale on November 20, Riot hasn’t slowed the rollout of announcements, from Project L to the locations for the 2022 World Championship. Caitlyn gets this week’s spotlight in the continued Council Archives showcase, which coincides with each champion’s Arcane skin being released on the League of Legends live servers.

Caitlyn’s Files allows fans a chance to pilfer through the sheriff-to-be’s files and see the sorts of investigation that the young Kirramman undertakes over the course of Arcane. Caitlyn’s hunt for Jinx has already been hinted at in an Arcane Season 2 announcement, and this Into the Arcane event continues to highlight her detective skills.

Further seasons of Arcane look to be continuing the tale of Caitlyn and Vi’s hunt for the renegade Jinx, who is still at large at the end of the first season.

When does Arcane Caitlyn come out?

Arcane Caitlyn is already available through a quest in League of Legends. Players simply need to play three games in a matchmade mode of any kind, even Teamfight Tactics. They can also claim the skin by winning one game.

Arcane Vi and Jayce have the same unlock conditions, as will Arcane Jinx upon that skin’s release. Not every character featured in Arcane has received a tie-in cosmetic skin, as some may be saved for the second season. Heimerdinger, Viktor, Singed, and Warwick fans will have to wait until at least 2023 for an opportunity to sport a new skin based on the animated series.

These dives into Arcane’s world have been just one of the many ways that Riot has explored for engaging players with the world before, between, and after the release of new episodes of the animated series from Studio Fortiche. RiotX Arcane will wind down towards the end of the month when Riot’s focus will shift towards Valorant and VCT Champions.
