Kick may be short on rules but that doesn’t mean its streamers will still have no consequences for their behavior, something Paul “Ice Poseidon” Denino is learning the hard way with a potential jail sentence.

Ice Poseidon is currently facing up to five years in prison after he was arrested for a sexually suggestive act he performed during a Kick stream. While broadcasting to fans late last month, Ice Poseidon gave his girlfriend a lap dance at a party hosted inside a hotel restaurant located in Thailand.

The lap dance wasn’t only viewed by his fans, however. The manager of the restaurant also saw the grinding and called the police. Ice Poseidon was arrested, but his troubles were just beginning.

Will Ice Poseidon go to jail for giving a lap dance?

On June 30, Ice Poseidon told his fans on Discord that he ended up paying $12,000 on bail. But he was still trapped in the country for the foreseeable future. He announced that he was going to stay in Thailand until his court date in 2024.

And he is facing major charges. Since the lap dance was recorded, Ice Poseidon is up against a “distribution of obscene content” charge, made worse by his girlfriend’s “revealing” outfit during the incident. This means Ice Poseidon may have to go to jail for five years.

Ice Poseidon has been sharing some updates ever since. He said that before paying his bail, he had to spend some time in a Thai jail. He described the conditions as extremely unpleasant, making a potential five-year sentence all the more threatening. This includes being given a bucket for going to the bathroom with “poop already in it” and other unsanitary conditions.

“If I get five years, I’m just going to kill myself,” Ice Poseidon admitted.
