Streamer QTCinderella is known for creating massive content creator events, but she may not be on Twitch for much longer.

QTCinderella is a full-time streamer who has shaken up the scene with the Streamer Awards. But her fame has, unfortunately, come with a lot of frustrating downsides, some of which have caused QTCinderella to consider quitting for good.

She recently discussed her feelings with Anthony Padilla, admitting that streaming led her to the “darkest time” of her life.

QTCinderella discusses trauma, depression, and PTSD from streaming

In a very candid video with Padilla, QTCinderella said that it’s “only a matter of time” until she quits, claiming that she has “lost her mind.”

The popular streamer said that her therapist called the industry “trauma-inducing,” mentioning swatting as one of the major concerns. According to QT, she and her partner Ludwig have been swatted multiple times over the last few years, which caused her to get diagnosed with PTSD. With so many swatting situations leading to death, it’s no wonder it struck a nerve with QTCinderella.

“I don’t know when I’ll be the same. I don’t know when I’ll be able to sleep through the night,” QT admitted.

The past year, QTCinderella has been “more depressed” than ever before. It’s been a difficult time for the streamer, who had to deal with the passing of her mother on top of the swatting and PTSD. She also revealed that she has been “more suicidal” than she’s ever been due to a lot of criticism and backlash she’s faced. She wondered how long she could continue to be a full-time streamer.

“There is so much that I love in this job, but how long can I do it?” QT questioned.

QTCinderella then worried that people would think she was mentioning suicidal thoughts for “drama,” showing just how much the internet trolling has impacted her. She added that she doesn’t want to die, which makes the thoughts all the more frustrating.

“It comes when you’re deteriorated. You’re so depleted, your brain is bombarding you,” QT said.

QTCinderella told Padilla that she hopes people will get nicer in 2023.
