Christmas is just around the corner, and Riot Games isn’t holding back from showering its players with winter-themed goodies. A boxed holiday gun buddy is next on the list of Riot’s 2021 gifts.
It’s been a whole year since Valorant was first made available to play for everyone. To commemorate the end of the year, the developer is thanking the dedicated player base with a gift pack gun-buddy in Valorant colors. It is one of the many New year and Christmas goodies that Riot has already rolled out.
ValorLeaks previously shared the leaded gun buddy, but players didn’t quite believe that the developer has more to offer after various VCT themed in-game cosmetics. From Champions 2021 gun buddies to a blockbuster skin bundle, the developer has made sure that players were set for 2022. This new gun buddy will be a valuable addition to the collections of loyal Valorant players.
The new gun charm is a tiny gift box wrapped in Valorant-themed paper. The gun buddy is packed tight with a silver ribbon contrasting its dark wrapping. Paired with the recent addition of the
Snowfall bundle, players might get a Christmas boost in their ranked Valorant games.
How to get Valorant holiday gun buddy?
Usually, gun buddies are tough to unlock. Some are
incredibly scarce, such as the Riot fist bump. But this one is a free treat for all. The holiday gun buddy will be available to all Valorant players at no cost. All you have to do is:
Log in to your Valorant account
Click on the collection tab
Select the weapon you want to customize
Click the “buddies” tab

Free Valorant gun buddies
Riot Games has rolled out free Valorant gun buddies before. Some charms are free yet extremely rare. For example, VCT 2021 gun charms have become very rare despite their being free. Players could only grab those tiny key chains while watching the Champions 2021 game. Few people got their hands on those drops, and they’ll always cherish the rare charms since they won’t be returning to the game.
