Horde Rush is back as part of Fortnitemares 2023 with a new set of quests.
Horde Rush is a limited time cooperative mode in Fortnite Battle Royale. It made its debut in Season 9 and returned in two previous occasions. Out of all the limited time modes, Horde Rush is very fitting for the Halloween time.
In Horde Rush, players fight in three major encounters. They have 150 seconds to loot a specific area and get ready for the attack. Cube Monster Brutes, Fiends, and Ranged Fiends spawn in the area and it’s the player’s mission to survive for three minutes.
The location for the next horde changes after every encounter. Players receive points based on the number of enemies killed and the type of loot they find. As the game progresses, enemies grow stronger.
The Caretaker is the final boss, it is the strongest of the Cube Monsters and spawns in the third round. The Caretaker has different types of attacks. It can slam the ground and create a shockwave that deals up to 60 damage. It also fires a beam and an electric web.
Horde Rush has its own set of quests and rewards for players to earn.
Some of the Horde Rush quests include landing headshots, attacking the monsters as they spawn, collecting score multipliers, and many more. Completing a specific number of quests will earn players different rewards.
The Horde Rush quests are available now and will run through November 3 when the event comes to an end. The Horde Rush quests are separate from the Fortnitemares 2023 quests.
