A new battle royale dubbed Project V is coming, and it’s from Jack “CouRage” Dunlop.

Another content creator has entered the battle royale development game, following in Herschel “Dr Disrespect” Beahm IV’s booted footsteps. Dr Disrespect introduced gamers to Project Moon last year, a vertical battle royale that takes place inside a high-rise building. Now, CouRage has announced Project V.

Project V is a passion project from some of the most popular battle royale streamers in the world, including CouRage, Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, Ali “SypherPK” Hassan, and Timothy “TimTheTatman” Betar. It’s being developed by SuperJoy Studios, the team responsible for the SypherPK Cup and Snipers vs Octane – Ping Pong Xtreme. All of their games, including Project V, are created with Unreal Engine For Fortnite.

Everything we know about Project V

SuperJoy has described itself as a “band of friends, gamers, and fellow content creators.” The crew of well-known streamers are passionate about battle royales and have played every single one that’s available to play. Thanks to their extensive experience playing battle royales at a high level, they feel confident that they know “what makes a battle royale great.”

On the official Project V homepage, SuperJoy explained that the launch of UEFN “sparked inspiration” for all of the streamers. They all got together to “brainstorm” and came to the conclusion that they wanted to create their own battle royale.

“So we’re uniting our communities and pooling our resources to do just that.  And we want to do it right,” the page read.

Project V is a passion project, and the involved gamers will be taking their time to develop it. It will include custom weapons, a full-scale map, and unique mechanics as the streamers attempt to make something different in the battle royale space. Unfortunately, it’s not clear what will exactly set it apart.

“While we can’t give away too many details about the game just yet, here’s what we can tell you: Project V will be a game that puts community feedback and features front and center. We believe that our players should have a say in shaping the game they play.”

When is Project V coming out?

Right now, there is no release date in sight for Project V. According to Project V’s social media, it’s being launched in 2024. If you want up-to-date information on the game’s progress, check out the newly launched Project V Twitter.
