Apex Legends Season 14 is on the horizon, but players already know what’s coming as a look at Vantage and her abilities has slipped through the cracks.
Leakers are typically the first to jump the gun when it comes to spilling information. Apex Legend data miners have revealed content years in advance through massive leaks. However, Respawn Entertainment pulled one over on itself by accidentally putting up a season 14 banner in the game, weeks ahead of the event’s release.
This included a first look at Vantage, a rumored new legend. Players who signed in for a certain length of time were welcomed with the legend’s poster and a confirmed date for season 14. The image was gone quickly, but not before players had already spread the screenshots.
“There’s a new installment of the Stories from the Outlands! Watch Survive and meet the new Legend joining the Games in Apex Legends: Hunted, coming August 9!” the image reads.
Vantage is the upcoming legend in Apex, set to go live on August 9. The recon character loves to hunt birds and animals and has an extensive backstory. Vantage will join the Apex Legends roster on August 9th in season 14, rumored to be named Hunted.
Soon after the unintentional reveal, the developer shared some teasers about Vantage’s lore. Rough sketches of a sniper and a bird further confirmed the leaked toolkit. A shabby diary with tales about Vantage’s grandmother and family paints her as a heartless hunter with a flair for sketching.
However, players are interested in her toolkit, and the data miners have also leaked that.
Vantage is a recon legend who excels at sniping and scouting, as mentioned in her diary. The legend may like to kill birds, but she’s also equipped with one that acts like a weapon. Here are all her abilities in Apex Legends.
