Heelmike banned from Twitch for wardrobe malfunction
Twitch partner Heelmike has been banned from the streaming platform after a wardrobe malfunction during a live broadcast.
The ban was first made public on August 31. Going to Heelmike’s Twitch channel results in the following message: “This channel is temporarily unavailable due to a violation of Twitch’s Community Guidelines or Terms of Service.”
At first, fans were confused as to what happened to Heelmike, who has over 7 million followers on Twitch. But the streamer decided to share exactly what happened.
Why was Heelmike banned from Twitch?
On Twitter, Heelmike was quick to confirm that his channel was suspended. The ban is apparently for one day only, meaning Heelmike will be back on September 1. This had his fans even more puzzled, wondering what could have led to him being banned for so short a time.
In a follow-up tweet, Heelmike explained that there was a “nip slip” during a party stream. This led to his channel being banned mid-stream, according to a fan who had been watching the shenanigans live.
“I thought we got away with it,” Heelmike said on Instagram.
During his time off, Heelmike said he would be spending some time “enjoying LA.”
